The design of the record is gorgeous and really suits the band's vibe.
However, I feel a bit scammed as I bought it on RSD directly from a store, and the money I paid for it was crazy. There is no chance it is limited to 2,000 copies—at least 10,000... -
This pressing seems to be getting great reviews. Quick question..how does this one compare to the 2015 BMG / Sanctuary UK pressing? Cheers

For £28 this is WAY betond my expectations!
GZ Media usually cant press quality records to save their lives but somehow this splatter vinyl came out dead flat, bang on centre and quiet through. Like its the quietest press i own of theirs to date and ive had (and returned) alot!
The mastering is also pretty good. Id like abit more meat and punch but its not bad at all. Very listenable with no baked in IGD.
For the money a surprisingly good press! -
Edited one year agoI’m a sucker for splatter vinyl, but in all honesty this is a bit of a cash grab by BMG. Nothing exceptional vs the recent reissues apart from pretty coloured wax.
That said vinyl is flat and quiet and sounds very good to my ear given its digital mastering. You could do a lot worse if you’re not stuck on having to own an early analog pressing. Finding one that hasn’t been beaten within an inch of its life is always the challenge. -
Edited 10 months agoThe vinyl is beautiful (best looking in my collection) and the gatefold is great quality. Awesome pic of the band. Sounds great, no surface noise at all.

My copy has some weird buzzing noises in the quiet middle section of War Pigs and at the start of Iron Man. Thorough cleaning has made no difference. Seems to be an issue with the pressing or just my actual copy. Annoying AF as otherwise would have been pretty good. Anybody else had this?

Beautiful colourway.
Pressing sounds good except for some surface noise, particularly noticeable on planet caravan.
