Edited 2 months ago“Part of My Life” is up there with Premier’s top production work outside of Gang Starr. Think “Boom” by Royce Da 5’9 or “Nas Is Like” by yeah you probably guessed it. The beat he gifted Bumpy with is a non stop forward moving funk monster. Spiced up to perfection by Bumpy’s furious and in your face claims, a la “You got a better chance at kickin down a tree. With no legs, doing a handstand on two eggs, motherfucker”.
