Excellent pressage très propre très détaillé, magnifique pochette avec impression en relief, point bonus pour le livret dedans. Excellente édition spéciale d'un album déjà excellent
-
This record sounds so great not one click pop or surface noise. I really enjoy the feel without the drums. Great for chilling.

Edited 10 months agoThe fact that there is no 4/4 kick on the floor with this record. Makes this record unique. Sounds amazing.
-
Disque dispensable ? probablement, mais il met bien en valeur la qualité des chansons. En revanche le pressage est d'excellente qualité comme souvent avec Daft Punk. Beaucoup de relief, belle scène sonore, aucun bruit de surface, c'est très agréable.

I really love RAM, and hearing the bare bones of the album allow me to appreciate the lyrics even more.
Only gripe I have is with my copy the a/b stickers are flipped.
It’s still absolutely playable and makes it unique to have a misprint like this. But I always appreciate a perfect pressing -
some tracks feel empty without the drums, like get lucky or lose yourself to dance. but i find it really fun to think of the drums in my head, or come up with my own rhythms! this is really nice to spin when the sun goes down

Edited one year agoHuge Daft Punk fan, but it's clear that this is just a cash grab. I enjoyed the unreleased tracks on RAM 10, but this just begs the question, why?
-
Edited one year agoThis is an absolutely bizarre project! RAM is one of my favorite albums and it’s DP masterpiece. I had to buy this just to own the anemic opposite to the 2013 original vinyl I bought in Arizona on release.
It’s a bit strange without drums which are the driving force of DP, but the sound quality and clarity is amazing. It’s deep, detailed, warm and beautifully cut. It’s bound to become a cult classic!
Maybe a drum, bass and synth version next? -
Superb decision, love this album with and without the drums, it really highlights some parts of the album PARTICULARLY Giorgio by Moroder. However, I can agree with the comments that said this should be offered in off-white vinyl included in the tenth anniversary edition.. i wanted a different booklet too! But whatever. This is about the music, and I love the music. So I’m not very bothered at all.
