After the instropective and mostly pessimistic The Nylon Curtain, this album is a complete reversal and is mostly positive and a homage to the musical styles that Billy Joel grew up with. No doubt the optimism is influenced and ed by his relationship with superstar model Christie Brinkley (who also featured in the music video for Uptown Girl), this is a pleasant album to listen to. The recording quality is a bit bright and harsh so it's probably better to listen to this album on CD.
