A1 sounds like Build me a woman (from LA Woman session).
A2 and A3 is an amateur recording, sounds acceptable, date is May 31st 1969, Cinematheque 16.
B side is a stage recording by Vince Treanor. (sounds worse than on live in vancouver 1970 cd release)
Sony TC 630 and two AKG D1000e mics were used. (same equipment was used at Seattle and Bakersfield 1970)
My copy is flat as should be, No. 9706

I have to say as a big Doors fan. The new blues "jam" is great to hear! But the rest ?
"Never be untrue" is cool but not new, Songs with Ray on vocals just aint the same. And The Albert King songs one has heard many times on different unofficial stuff. This shouldve/couldve been a 7" easiley. And after first song on A1 theres some "static" in the recording. More than me that has heard this , ive read on pages.
            Nah, this one was disappointment.

Why the hell is this the one RSD doors release that is so pricey? Usually you can get a doors RSD release for retail or cheaper yet this one is over priced on the used market?

To all copycats: the question about amount of edition was 10,000 or 17,000 ... and seems to be answered now (also in the notes above). It makes no sense that everyone comments with his number on the cover any longer, independently how high the number is. This space here is for reviews! ;)

                  I have #12,430...
My fav group is the Beatles...but super strong #2 is Morrison and the Doors...
Not only are Jim's lyrics mystical, the guys are top musicians who deliver on every cut...
