Edited 2 months agoBought four copies of this. First three played well, but crackly when quiet and between tracks. Assumed this was the same for all pressings. Bought fourth copy recently in a batch of records and it’s PERFECT - silent throughout background throughout. -
Just got a mint copy of this - and I'm shocked. The CD beats this for sound by a country mile. I don't know if other pressings are better, but as for this one, I think it's pretty poor. Sorry, was expecting a lot more.
Get the CD rather than this. IMO. -
Some absolute cracking tunes on this album. This is also incredibly pressed. Buy this absolute bargain now. -
Does anyone know the release date for this - the earliest says 1988, but Wiki says it was released in january of 1989.

My copy has PACLZ 4177 on label not PACLZ 4176. Barcode and stamped runout as above. I assume it is just a variation on this issue.
