Behemoth's recent cover of "Total Invasion" should have been added too.
I like that version they recorded on the Japanese version of Evangelion. -
The album itself is superb! Bonus disc is rather boring without respect of persons.
So, standard edition would be enough almost for everybody, IMO. -
Edited 14 years agoClassic Killing Joke CD, however the production quality ranges from poor to ok. The drums are muddy, cymbals distorted on the majority of tracks. I want to listen to this more because I think there is some great stuff going on here, but the mixing and clarity really fatigues my ears after the first 4 tracks. The tracks would do so much better if Jaz's vocals were upfront more and the rhythm section wasn't so washed out. I heard some MP3s of tracks from this CD pre-release and attributed the sound quality to being MP3s, but the released CD isn't any better.
Note: If you have any kind of psychoacoustic or surround sound settings on while listening to this, it makes it sound horrible. Shut it off and things sound better.
