somewhere in the world is a vinyl copy of this with HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANANDI (me) written on it in metallic sharpie; it was stolen along with a number of other records from me back in the 90s. If someone were to ever come across it, I would sure love to buy it back or make a really good trade- it was gift you know (obviously) and anyway honestly who else wants a copy with sharpie writing of someone else's name on it?

I must it, I never really paid much attention to this band, but found an Italian pressing of this LP in fantastic shape and just couldn't it up. Playing it through, I am not really sure what style of music this is -- gothic rock? insane cabaret? psychobilly? I don't think you could categorize it, but it's certainly unique and entertaining. Swampy compositions with excellent horn charts, histrionic vocals, stream of consciousness lyrics, plaintive keening. This album must be heard to be believed.
