I’m intimately familiar with this album as it’s been on loop on my mp3 player or been streamed a zillion times since it came out. This is the first time I’ve got it on vinyl. And I must say this is an excellent pressing! Flat, quiet, warm sounding and I suddenly heard detail and instruments that I hadn’t ever before, in 17 years of listening from digital sources. I’ll going to spend some time comparing this to an OG Japanese CD I also picked up recently but my first impression is certainly favourable. Great reissue imo.

Superb pressing of a superb album. Seriously impressive! Radiohead cares about the way their records are pressed on vinyl and it shows. Highly recommended!

Pretty sure this is the version I have, it’s hard to read the run outs.
Based on what others are saying about the sound I think it is because this sounds stunning, it’s as if they’re in the room. -
Absolutely killer pressing. I lived with an original from 2007 until just now, and it was quite dull sounding and riddled with surface noise. This pressing is superior in every way.

This is really phenomenal. Heino from Optimal did a fantastic job on cutting this masterpiece into a lovely sounding vinyl!
-
It's cut a little too hot, often overwhelmed and slightly distorted, but the emotion is here, I cried listening to it.

Edited 9 months agoI think this pressing actually beats the discbox 45rpm version. In my opinion that was cut too hot in places, whilst this one is just perfection from start to finish. (Played on a Rega RP6 with Exact cartridge)

That would be an understatement if I said that I was completely blow away by the sound and overall quality of this release. Just get this version if you still don't have this classic album on vinyl - it's so beautiful, the sound is very rich and detailed. In addition, a sort of soft-touch matte finishing on the sleeve is a nice cherry on top

Edited one year agoStunning pressing. Sonics are so detailed and clear - hats are just like in the room. Deep bottom. Beautiful voice, and what a guitars! Music is flowing from the speakers right to your heart.
Zero surface noise, not a single click. Just awesome release - one of the best sounding record in my collection. -
