Edited 3 years agoCompilation LP with many of Marin Denny's prior recordings...but one listen and you know you are in the Martin Denny wheelhouse...Exotic musical images, Pacific Paradise moods, and mellow and slow sounding images are created in your skull as you savor the trip back to "PARADISE MOODS"...Aside from the paradise name, his stuff is also known as exotic, lounge music, and Tiki sounds... Denny churned out a whopping 40 studio albums and even more compilation efforts on wax..."Quiet Village" was a HUGE hit and the album peaked near #1 on the charts...Prolific and a musician who sold a whole lot of albums, Martin Denny and his style still sounds as exotic and fresh today as when he started it up in the mid-50's...

Edited 9 years agoGorgeous cheesecake cover with wonderfully kitsch, pop cover exotica stashed inside. "Temptation" and "Jungle Madness" (also featured on the superior Hypnotique) are more than worth a listen.
