I have had this pressing since I started collecting in 09 and it's always sounded incredible and has always been a quiet smooth press too

Great album and awesome songs. Very glad to have this on vinyl. Sound quality- Upon opening I could see lots of debris on the surface of the record. I gave both a thorough cleaning and they sound excellent. No issues.

I had issues when I bought this new with surface noise as well. I have since bought a vacuum cleaner and put it through a thorough clean. It now sounds pristine. I assume there was a lot of leftover debris from the pressing process on this press. Do yourself a favor and deep clean this one and you will no longer be disappointed.

Knowing all vinyl can be slightly different during the pressing process, I would just like to add that my copy plays perfectly and the sound quality is outstanding. I have no skating, reverb, hissing, etc...vocals are crisp and low end is clear and still drives the songs...overall 5/5 for this copy.

I bought my copy a few years back. Giving it a listen, and it sounds fantastic through my ortofon cartridge, onkyo reciever, and Klipsch speakers. I'd love to play at an extreme volume, but it might offend my wife. This album not only sounds great, but is also is yet another Alice in Chains masterpiece. The artwork, gatefold, bonus CD, and beautiful clear vinyl make it a great piece in my vast collection. If you like AIC, buy the vinyl, don't settle for compressed, flat, and empty digital sound.

May be luck of the draw but I just purchased a copy from amazon and it is excellent. I really appreciate when artists include a physical cd with their vinyl release! Will say though that after listening to this on vinyl I think my hearing has deteriorated!
