Cro-Mags – The Age Of Quarrel

The biggest problem I had with this release was no one was getting anything out of the sales of this pressing itself I was gonna go out to get this but after I heard what was what, Also how many people were gonna buy it up anyways I didn't see a chance at getting it. So I figured I would wait and see what it was going for. I broke and bought a copy I am happy to have it in my collection. I also will buy an official copy that pays the of the band once one arises again. I too thought this would be semi unofficial.

Shouldn't this be labeled "Unofficial"? I know it's not, technically, but... Now we really know what the Profile of the record company is. :D

I'm a bit disappointed with this release...my record was slightly warped when I got it out of the sleeve and I would say that the sound quality is average at best. Still, it's great to finally be able to own this album. I just wish that the record label that owns the rights to the album actually cared enough to properly re-master, re-issue this album and actually get the original of the group involved.

Looks like crap, sounds decent at best. Inner sleeve was definitely made in 5 minutes and is the only part that gives it a bootleg looking flavor. Oh wait, I forgot about the cover... Honestly looks like they scanned the last reissue's sleeve at 200 dpi, and then printed that. Oh well, the band and reissue labels will continue to crush this group's legacy for many more years to come, that I'm certain.

Sounds great, disc is flat as a board, and the "splatter" looks great too (although it's more of a smoke effect IMO). JJ not getting money off of this doesn't affect me much. Did buy a shirt so Harley gets some dough out of me however.

Anybody else’s copy have side A labels on both sides? Sucks the guys aren’t getting paid for this, but i’m not dropping $200 for an original press or subsequent bootleg repress.

This is an official release. The band penned a bad deal with Profile when this album was signed on that Harley now regrets. Because the contract that they signed didn't work out in their favor does not make this release unofficial or bootleg. Stop feeding stupid drama.

another "re release" ripping off everybody, this is just like a million other "reissues" a digital file put on vinyl, what a waste of vinyl!

Sounds pretty good, love the photo on the back. People on here talking about getting it for $25 and decrying "discogs profiteers" when the people who made this album have said they never received a dime are lost in the sauce.
