Amazingly this record can also de heard at 33 r.p.m. (Originally pressed for 45 r.p.m.) The music still mantains its tone and melody, although in a different scale, and Elizabeth's voice turns into a man's one, let's say similar to Swans MIchael Gira. This particular situation could also be repeated in other Twins 12 inchers or even maybe on some other bands productions. Give it a try!

Great Spangled Fritillary is one of those tracks that never fails to give me the chills and make my hairs stand up. Could be 100 degrees outside. Beautiful. Few other CT tracks do it also. And Sanvean by Lisa Gerrard...

This and it's twin EP (Tiny dynamine) are the best sounding Cocteau Twins EPs from the 80's era. These songs were recorded to test the production capacities of the new recording studio the band had at the time. Originally they didn't intend to release these tracks, but the results were great so they issued the final product on two EPs. I haven't heard the recent vinyl reissue, but I'd recommend anyone to buy an original copy, which you can still find here for a very low price.
