Almost identical to U2 - The Joshua Tree, except the back cover of this version has only eight (8) lines of "Thanks to:" text and does NOT have the "Special thanks..." text, nor does it have the asterisk after the song "Red Hill Mining Town" on the back cover. The lack of this text and the lack of the asterisk after the song indicate that this is the earliest version of this release in a gatefold sleeve.
LP has gold "Joshua Tree" labels and is housed in plain black inner sleeve.
U26 printed on spine, back cover and labels.
