Edited one year agoThis has been reissued at least once since it’s original release and is still available to buy brand new from Domino. All the brand new sealed copies for sale under this listing are very likely to be reissues, as there’s no way of telling what pressing it is without checking the matrix numbers. The first pressing has NIGEL REEKS etched in the side A runout, later pressings do not.

I have the original 2008 CD and must say that this 2008 LP has a better and clearer sound. It's an excellent pressing on heavy vinyl.
I don't think it would have been necessary to put this on two discs: the albums is just 34 minutes long and sounds great. -
Edited one year agoFabulous record! Sounds fantastic also. Certainly better than the compressed CD. Best thing Alex & certainly Miles have recorded imo!

An average pressing. The orchestra sounds good but could be much better. They should make a two disc version to give all those details the extra room to breathe.
