Great album, for sure. One of my favorites. But this probably has to be the weirdest/worst vinyl pressings I've ever owned in my short time of collecting. I'm not complaining since I got it pretty cheap but this should be a lesson for me to read the comments on Discogs before I pick a record.

Great pressing. Some clicks and pops but nothing major. Thanks to Impulse for pressing it on one LP and not making it double.

Fantastical album. Possibly the poorest mastered vinyl I own. The double gatehead sleeve is wonderful, only gutted that such a poor listening experience takes so much space in my box.....

For fans of The Comet - I just recently discovered Soccer 96 made up of Danalogue and Betamax (and featuring Shabaka); well worth a listen in my opinion! Anyone else fans?

Interesting rant - it is a great album - it is top of most of the jazz critics end of year lists - and well recorded - the record company has made a balls of the mastering such that the CD sounds better. As most people will be streaming it - they won't care. My comment was purely buyer beware (of the vinyl).
