For me the ''Raindance Mix'' on b-side is the one to go ,on this 12''. What a stormer of a club tune is this!! It's very deep and dark tech house number, with deep baseline and beat, and the vibe & energy of this particular mix is years ahead of it's time, sounds like a 2000's track.

Considered an original Sven Väth composition, L'Esperanza bears some striking similarities to Torsten Fenslau's LDC - Plasma, another Frankfurt production that was released a year earlier. The background motif and use of female vocals are virtually identical, and I would even go as far and say L'Esperanza is a remix of that track.

Most beautiful music video ever shot, I don't know why, but it brings tears watching young Sven Vath swimming with dolphins in some paradise island, it's almost surreal. Look it up it's still on YouTube rZKV4KIeIrU.

Reminds me of the Cafe Del Mar in '93, L'Esperanza, one of his much more chilled moments.

For many, particularly those outside , this 'L'Esperanza' was the first we had heard of Sven Vath. What an amazing way to announce yourself onto the world stage it was. This is the very personification of heavenly bliss and as such perfectly typifies all that which used to be good about Ibiza.

The 'Doub Mix' is the one to go for. With it's precision but warm production, swathes of reassuring synths, and breaky but trippy beats, it is at once a dancefloor delight of the highest order and a chill out track to die for. The female laughter at the end is a touch class that has yet to be sured anywhere.

The 'Hope Will Move Mountains Mix' is probably more Paul Van Dyk than Cosmic Baby and as such is probably a bit disappointing when compared to the two Visions Of Shiva masterpieces on MFS, but is certainly worthy of a listen anyway.

Also look out for the superb promo video that accompanied this track. It features Sven Vath in a tropical island setting swimming with Dolphins. Just like the track, it is the ultimate vision of an idealised life.
