Edited one year agoI hate to be a lame ass hater but I don’t know how a movie as beautiful and haunting and creative as this, with a killer soundtrack, got such a terrible cover art design. This jacket honestly looks like fucking garbage.
Music: 5 stars, Design: 1 star, average: 3 (because Discogs won’t let us enter 2.5). -

My copy is slightly warped and a bit noisy but otherwise sounds good. Packaging is really pretty too. I do have one small nitpick tho, and that’s the color of my discs. I’m not sure if there’s a new variant or if my copy is just different but rather than the bright and even hot pink pressings I’ve seen, my copy is a much more dull shade that doesn’t match the art well. My copy is also marbled, which I don’t think I’ve seen before. could be a new variant idk

The music of this movie and this record is fantastic!!! Nothing to say about that, the artwork is cool, could be better in my opinion. But this pressing? Quality is a shame, very noisy, warped, a lot of clicks an pops that distracts from the beauty of the music
There's no option currently so we need to live with that, hoping that an audiophile label take this masterpiece and give it the proper treatment, but unfortunately I don't think this will happen soon

The lack of any pressing plant I.D.s leads me to believe this is indeed a US press and was probably done at United or Rainbo. Good grief!

I've been spinning this constantly since before Halloween - I love it, but it was pretty noisy on the first spin and I was disappointed. However...
Both discs had alot of static cling out of the cardboard inner, so it got wet-washed and placed in a mofi sleeve. Static is controlled now and surface noise is reduced. The pops and clicks that were still present (which were pretty annoying in some ages) have significantly been reduced with repeat playings, and it's pretty quiet (and beautiful) now. I've heard of repeat playings sometimes 'polishing out' the pops - that seems to have happened with mine. Give it a shot. It's worth it.
