I think this was the second CD I managed to track down by DN. I was very eagar to hear more after benevolence & deflagration of hell. I was not disappointed at all. Since I am reviewing this almost two decades after it was released, I can say honestly that the title tracks are just filler next to the rest of the album.
I'm writing this from the hip (my memory) so I'm not sure of the title (3rd track I think), the one with the monkey shrieking....I have been listening to industrial feel-bad music for 3 decades & nothing had ever actually made my skin crawl.....not until that song at least.... Its not particularly an esthetic feeling either... I think its more akin to some combination of frequencies that build up right before the drums start. It still gets me when I put it on. Brilliant.
