It’s been a while since I heard this copy,I have many others, and I’m enjoying it very much, for me it’s a very good edition, It doesn’t lack anything.I think it depends a lot on the system you listen to it on, in my case, Kuzma+Hana Umami Blue+Mcintosh,it’s not UHQR but it’s not far off.

If anyone has an absolutely trashed disc/missing disc but the original cover i'd be interested! I bought this but I have the disc and not the sleeve haha. Some normal US sleeve.

Buying this is a waste of money. Easily one of MoFi’s worst releases. Very bass and treble boosted with no midrange. Get an AB-1006 or UHQR.

Get the Japan version. Much cheaper and amazing mix. I have several copies and none come close to the clear dynamics.

My favorite LP of all-time and the MFSL is 2nd to the Cisco. The sonic difference between the two is amazing.

Love MOFI but this is a lack luster pressing. Picked up a first US pressing. Sounds better than this pressing. From what I understand, MOFI was at a little disadvantage as they were allegedly not provided the original master tapes when this was mastered. Also understand that the original master tapes may not exist.

Got at my local store it was sitting there 1/2 price then on here, so for fun figured how bad could it be? Eh maybe I’ve heard such bad talk, it wasn’t the worst Mofi ever as some say. Pressed on clean vinyl, It’s just alittle flat sounding. The OG alittle wider sounding but this is quiet vinyl it’s a trade off will keep this though

                  This pressing is meh
                  Muddy, lacking the dynamics
                  it just doesn’t sound open

Go for the AB1006 first press or better yet the Cisco!

wow im getting the opposite that people describe,,i have 2 copies of this mfsl and both of them have a shaved off top end with some added bass ,classic half speed mastered sound, very inoffensive, its not better than a first pressing, but it is different, pending on what mood im in i play both,,, if ya want to show of your system play the 1st press,,, if you want a different sound the mfsl is interesting,,,, i have a love hate relationship with it because its just wrong, but for some reason i always continue to play it,,,lol

Picked this up used. It gives my 1977 pressing some competition.
