The sound of this pressing is so lively, it feels like I'm sitting at a Jeff Buckley concert. I bought a used copy that has surface noise, so can't say if it's from previous use or from the pressing itself. However, it's only noticeable in the quite parts but doesn't dominate the music, it adds more of a charm to it really.

I’ve owned and played the 2004 pressing (with the Forget Her bonus 7”) for almost 20 years and have always thought it sounds great, but recently I got my hands on an original ’94 pressing and I gotta say there’s a noticeable difference in sound quality. The original packs a punch and clarity that is sorely missing from the reissue, I’m not sure if this is due to the pressing or the ’04 remastering, probably the latter. Also, the artwork on the reissue is slightly cropped and a bit blurry, on the original the image is razor sharp.
With that said, if you don’t feel like shelling out a couple of hundred for an original the 2004 pressing will definitely do, plus you get two bonus tracks on the 7”, which is the reason I've kept both of my copies. But if you want the best sounding of the two, not to mention an original piece of rock history, you should definitely go for an original! -
This is an absolute killer pressing.
Jeff Buckley and his band were in my living room for a while... -
9/10 album.
Would be 10/10 if it weren't for the cover of "Hallelujah". Might be an unpopular opinion, but that one sticks out like a sore thumb for me. I get it's a vocal LP, and his vocals do sound mesmerizing on that track, but idk, just not a fan of that being included on the LP. -

Probably one of the more expensive albums in my collection. For sure one of my favorite albums of all time. But as pressings go, this one has lots of pops, clicks that are definitely from the pressing.

very poor quality on this one.. had 2 already and sold forward.. crackles , background noise... just pick quality MOV reissue for better clean sounds..
