Reviews

I’ve read the reviews about the sound of this pressing.
Thankfully mine sounds just fine.
Freaking love some Miles Davis! 🙌🏻 -

Guess I got lucky. I found this used at a local shop and took a chance even after reading the reviews. The shop ultrasonically cleans their new records, so maybe they took care of any noise issues. Either way, this pressing sounds great, is flat, and quiet.
-
The worst of all the VMP records I own ( which is quite a few )
However, after reading the many positive reviews it may just be that my copy is a fluke
First side is unlistenable, constant clicks and pops….after 2 ultrasonic cleanings -
Great transparent sound, really nice mastering. The packaging and the stuff included is extraordinary, a work of love.
-
My pressing sounds great. Mastering is dynamic and clear. Vinyl is flat and quiet. The jacket is amazing, glossy tip-on. The pink is cool but wish labels would ease up on it.
-
One of my most disappointing purchases of recent times. It crackles aggressively from beginning to end, despite my having cleaned it before the first play.
-
-
Weird that there are no mastering credits on the back or in the runouts. Is there any clues as to who mastered this?
