Absolutely brilliant sounding pressing. The dynamics, separation and volume are just killer. Love that it’s a first pressing with its differences.

This is the original version, released in London before the suits at Atlantic demanded a single (RnR Damnation) and cold hearted man to be removed. What dicks. If this was good enough for the boys then it’s good enough for me. Not that I dislike the world release, but this is the way it was intended.

Years ago I bought this version from someone in the UK via Ebay primarily because I wanted the version with Cold Hearted Man (I'd only had it on a bootleg). I was pleasantly surprised to hear how different the tracks were compared to the US release (which I also like). Different edits, some vocal differences & that more ballsy mix (Porky=always awesome!). Made an already great album even more so. it's no wonder Keith Richards likes it. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

Holy smokes this mastering rocks. Really big room-filling sounds and the louder you crank it the more it shines. Highest recommendation for rock n roll for sound quality and the content ain’t bad either!

For me, the best and definitive version and mix. Nothing wrong with the latter versions but for me this is the ‘one’

I’ve just timed Gone Shootin’ and it’s approx 5:20 not 4:19. I’m not complaining as that’s an extra minute

This is the first version (european press) of this album before the international version. Different tracklist different mix. In my opinion this first version buries the next one. more brutal rock. The sound is great.

By far, in my opinion, this is the superior version of Powerage. After hearing the original mixes via YouTube, then purchasing this version (just recently), it’s obvious that what we got here in Australia is inferior to the original mixes, as on this release. Be sure to save your money, if you can find a copy, because you can’t get this version on CD :(

These UK and early European version contained early edits of gimme a bullet, down payment blues and gone shootin' due to them being released in a hurry to keep up with the bands rising popularity after let there be rock.

Rock 'n' Roll Damnation was not included on the 1st UK versions of this album as it was released as a 12" single.

All CD versions were mastered from the later master tapes which contained extra backing vocals and guitar riffs and the track order is different on the CD's than from the early vinyl releases.
