The Muppets – A Christmas Together

Strangely enough the spine on this CD is blank with no text. From what I this is actually very well recorded and mastered, will update this when I relisten next month.

don't waste you time with the crappy reissues when you can get this. it sounds great. I have reissues ( the color vinyl got me) and they sound awful- very muffled

also on this release, lower back "A portion of the proceeds of this recording goes to the Plant-It 2000 charity"

You know you need to sort your life out when you're buying this, online, in September, in advance of most probably another fucking miserable Xmas, my most hated time of the year. Isn't this hobby good.

A bit of uneven mixing between songs, and overall a bit quiet. Despite that this album is a family classic and I'm really happy to have this clear, beautiful recording to listen to every holiday season.

I was expecting "Christmas green" and instead this is spyglass or coke bottle green.

The novelty of this album wears thin quickly. There should be less Muppets and more Denver. It's easy to do stupid Xmas albums and do parody songs of popular Christmas tunes and A Christmas Together is no exception. Mainly, the songs by the Muppets are parodies while the songs by Denver are the tracks that are actually good. If you've not seen the 1979 TV special it's a forgotten classic but this album is a bit of a flop and very short. Pick it up cheap if you are collecting Xmas tunes or a Denver/Muppets completist. Still his Rocky Mountain Christmas album is more appropriate.
