From a musical perspective, this album is one of Tatsuro Yamashita's more mellow and vocal focused works. It's expertly composed and his voice is at its best on the album. Personally, I'm more fond of Spacy, For you, and Go Ahead! For their upbeat classic city pop vibes.
In of the packing and quality of vinyl, this is the highest quality item from the RCA years represses. The colors and art on the sleeve are incredible. It comes with a noticeably higher quality insert package than the others. And when it comes to the press itself, the album is completely silent. Where For You is marred by some muddled vocals, and my copy of Spacy has noticeable background noise, Moonglow is a perfect press.
Even if Moonglow isn't your favorite, pick this up to experience some master mastering and crystal clear sound. -

A severely underrated release by Tatsuro. This album have some of the most beautiful arrangements I ever heard, 永遠のFull Moon is the prime example, the complex layering of different instruments and harmonics combine with Tatsuro's vocal, created an almost opera/orchestra like experience.
The album was cut at a much lower volume compared to other Tatsuro releases; because the tracks were way too long and complex to cut loud. It's a testament to the noise floor performance of the entire system, and also how well the cartridge will pick up the low level signals. On my system, it has a very lush sound, yet incredibly clean, smooth and transparent.

I own a copy of this in vinyl and everything looks and sounds the same as it should. except the stamping on side A says AIR 8001A 111 which is different from the one recorded in the notes of this album.
Anyone knows if there's a difference? Could mine possibly be knockoff?
