I think there may be some sort of mastering / cutting issue with this version, some loud sections seem to have strange distortions -

WITH RECORDINGS AS soothing as this - once you allow yourself to slip into E luxo so - the trance of the first song - you'll be surprised at how quickly 39 minutes goes floating by. Truly one of the most finely sculpted sounds in modern music today.
LABRADFORD do one thing right - Everything. Chris Johnson returns playing strings as this trio from Richmond, Virginia not only expand their sound - they benchmark it. Six timeless non-titled tracks (no names per se) explore and reveal a sensory world with infinite boundaries. And as climatologists - it's the meditative sound that LABRADFORD have pinpointed: layering juxtaposed elements of orchestral ambience into a dynamic audio/visual experience. Carter Brown's piano solo's are a thing of simplistic elegance. Using found sounds as on track 3 LABRADFORD impart to the listener an audio metaphor half way into the piece stopping the piano/string section docu-drama with what sounds like the entering of a railcar - an imprint for us to climb aboard - without disrupting the flow. Mark Nelson's guitar swirls about intercellular. Here we find a "page-turner" easy to read with many great stories inside....
