These mixes never really did the original justice IMHO. The only one I *did* play for a short time was the Tin Tin Out mix, as it wasn't too obnoxious and / or obscure compared to the other mixes. Ultimix Issue 62 had a version based on this mix but they added a cool tempo wind-down section in the middle (these seemed to be all the rage for a period in late '95 to early '96 it seems...).

"Pump up the jam" was based on Farley's "The Acid Life" and became a million dollar seller, the original was never credited.

Despite this release shows Felly as the vocalist of Pump Up The Jam, it is well known that the true singer is Ya Kid K. She also appears on other tracks of the Pump Up The Jam album released between 1989 and 1990, such as "Get Up", "Rockin' Over The Beat" and "Move This".
