Steel Wheels is the nineteenth British and twenty-first American studio album
by the English rock band The Rolling Stones,
recorded 29 March – 5 May 1989 and
released on 25 August 1989 in the US[ and on 11 September in the UK.
It was the final album of new material that the band would record for Columbia.

Mick Jagger – lead vocals (except 8 & 12), backing vocals (1, 2, 9, 12), guitar (1, 2, 4–7, 11),
harmonica (5, 11), shakers (2, 3), keyboards (10)

I bought this brand new from a record shop in Scarborough in 1992 for £1! Just gave it a spin for the first time in a while and it sounds great - and is a better album than I ed to be perfectly honest. -

This pressing sounds very good! The bass has a nice kick, the guitars sounds nice and clean, and Mick’s voice sounds phenomenal! I highly recommend picking up this pressing if you can. -

Just picked this up last week. Agree with the comments that the volume seems lows. Have to crank a bit more. But beside that I think it's solid pressing. Been picking up the half speed masters one by one when the funds allow. LOL

Mixed Emotions is a different mix, compared to all earlier releases and only available on this record. All CD's or tracks from Steel Wheels come with the normal album version. This one is longer as listed (4.51) and has a short organ part in the intro. Maybe released mistakenly. -
Very good sound quality on this release. Pressing is nice too.
