The Police – Reggatta De Blanc

This is a must! My copy has minor pops, but that even doesn't take the power and good quality of the álbum.

Strangely enough I think the mastering on this version absolutely DEMOLISHES the English version. This is the pressing to own👍👍👍

Medium pressing. Weak upper tones (cymbals) and drums. Compressed like MP3 compared to the OG from 1979 that I have. BUT I recently bought a copy Back to Black from 2008 (new sealed). Sounds like my OG. Sounds great. Leave the 2019 copy. Waste of money. My comparison of these 3 editions. This one is a maximum of 2 and a half stars.

Very good pressing. I bought a new sealed one. Great dynamics, clear high tones (drums, cymbals. Comparable to my OG from 1979. Much better than the copy from 2019 whose mastering is compressed like MP3. Cut high tones). For me, 5 stars for pressing.

This is a great album by the Police, and this Europian/Holland, pressing sounds amazing. The sound is fresh and crispy.

Very clean sounding pressing the clarity and details are just right

Not a bad pressing per se, but a strange listening experience. It seems to lack a fullness or rather a wideness. What I hear sounds great but it sounds like the entire band is clustered right in front of the turntable. Your mileage may vary.

Holy shit, the fidelity is quite amazing. Copeland’s drums are thumping with good snaps on the snare, nice balance and separation. So much more “in your face” power than any CD I’ve ever heard. It blows away the remastering on the Abby Road reissues I’ve heard! Get this!
