That's quite a number. I think you can hear on this record right now where the technology has probably reached its limits. It's incredibly good. I'm dispensing with further attributes like soundstage, clarity, and such. You have to hear it to be believed. And with a wink, I have to say, it now sounds a bit more like Atlantic 75th than Mofi.

Got my pre-ordered record yesterday from JPC, . Side 1 with A7 in the deadwax. Absolutely stunning pressing with immense wide and high soundstage. Reasonably eq'd. A no-brainer and worth every penny.

This remaster is a bit of a mixed bag. The heavywhite vinyl looks and feels nice — solid pressing, low surface noise, no complaints there. But sound-wise, it leans very bright. The treble is pushed a bit hard, to the point where it can feel harsh or fatiguing.

I don’t have the original vinyl to compare, so I can’t say for sure how faithful this is. But compared to the recent CD remaster, this one is definitely brighter, though not necessarily better.

My respect for the great work

Impressive edition. The sounds that were present on the original recording seem like I'm hearing them for the first time; the body and warmth of the bass are striking. In "Caroline" I heard choruses and sounds that were hidden or requested on the CD, but which are surprisingly new here. This MoFi edition takes this work to the highest level as a sound experience.

BEWARE! MoFi is STILL shipping out stock with the old LP1 (the one with A5 in the dead wax!). I bought a copy of newly arrived stock, number 3082, from a local retailer in my country, who also happen to be the distributor for MoFi here.

My copy had the fucked up side 1 still. I took it back, and together with the owner we opened all stock they had, about 20 copies, and ALL had the original pressing (A5). To say that the owner was pissed is putting it mildly. He told me they had received the shipment with those records THIS WEEK (week of April 7th-13th).

Una edición excelente, el disco se siente de 180 g, plano, sin deformaciones, las etiquetas (label) son las originales y es un disco silencioso como uno normal (no como un "super vinyl") y el sonido es muy similar al disco original de 1987.
Portada de calidad, cartón grueso y la calidad de la imagen como la del original nuevo. Insert con las letras.

An excellent edition. The record weighs 180g, is flat, and has no deformations. The labels are the originals. It's a silent record like a normal one (not like a "super vinyl"), and the sound is very similar to the original 1987 record.
The cover is of high quality, thick cardboard, and the image quality is like that of the new original. The insert includes the lyrics.
What more could you ask for?

Got my replacement disc. Wow! What a difference. Spectacular. Sounds exactly as it should.

Simply superb - warm, detailed and fabulous bass. Cannot fault this edition in any way. Well done Rob LoVerde. 5 ✨
