Im way late to the party but I got this opening day, I did comparison between the OG’s and these copies and I found these copies to be much superior.
As everyone has said below, these albums simply need Remixes. -
ok i'm selling the boxset and keep the japanese 2005 versions.
rip the 2000 remasters in flac and these ones and you see the difference.
Chris Bellman at bernie grundman is 100% better...
WB is joking with us and look at the 3 single cd's from zz top that WERE remastered and the box with the 10 discs...same bullshit. -

For anyone that loves For Unlawful, the deluxe version that was recently released blows away the version in this box set. -
So flipping good! Love the Sammy years and DLR as well. I have all the DNL vinyl individually so they are not the remastered versions but i will say these Sammy vinyls sound great! My pressing is perfect on all of them. I didn’t feel there was much difference with my original 5150 but I will playback the new one more because it is a newer press with less wear. I highly recommend this set. Excellent! -
Overall a good mix for most albums. Right channel distortion on For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge is a big disappointment. Packaging is also rather cheap and nothing like the high quality of the DLR 2015 remasters. -
Does anyone have issues with Balance? I get a ton of clipping/distortion sounds, especially on Aftershock. Washed the record and put in an anti-static sleeve.

A store I went to was selling the albums individually from this box, so I bought Balance. Is there an entry for each album within the box? I mean these pressings. I don't wanna add the box because I don't have the box. I guess I could've bought the box, but I really only like Balance...ah well.
