Billy Strings – Me / And / Dad

My copy has a 'Made in ' sticker on the rear sleeve in the bottom right-hand corner. Looking at the spindle holes, I know instinctively that this was pressed at Optimal. Excellent pressing with zero surface noise.

Just obtained one of these indie yellow swirl/egg drop copies and it's perfect, with great sound and no production defects in the vinyl whatsoever.

This is the best Tradional Bluegrass album recorded. I love every song on it. Billy Strings is the best him and his dad recorded the best music.

Just wanted to note that there are purple (different from the violet) versions without the obi from Assai Records that are out there from Europe as well.

Clean and tight pressing, well done. The content differs slightly from the brand of Bluegrass usually heard on the previous outings by Billy in how this one is a bit more stripped down. If you’re looking for an album that sounds like Turmoil & Tinfoil, Home, or Renewal, you may want to stream it first.. if you’re a fan of Billy and Bluegrass, this will make a great addition to your collection.

Major pressing issues with red variant. Scuffs, scratches, etc. went thru 3 more before getting a playable copy. Never buy a sealed copy, good chance it’s unplayable.

My copy is phenomenal. Said copy was supposed to be the "egg drop" variant according to the hype sticker. Pleased to have a red variant; a fun Easter egg surprise to be sure. We Love You, Billy (and Dad).

Any issues with this pressing? I've seen comments about defects with the indie retail releases?

The greatest traditional albums ever released in music. Billy Strings and his dad is the best and I love every song on this album. Please keep your music going Billy. You and your dad is the best.
