Pretty good pressing for a Jamaican reissue. Almost no surface noise.
I bought this record just for Riddle I This and Version You To The Ball. -

Alcapone stormed out of the gate with a debut DJ record to rival any that followed in its wake. Preceded only by U Roy, this release is all the more remarkable as the earliest example of toasting. Extraordinary!
P.S. According to the Deep Roots Music series the inventors of toasting were actually Count Machuki & Sir Lord Comic, the latter generally credited with recording the very first DJ record as early as 1966!
However, Alcapone demonstrated a stylistic maturity even in the earliest stage of his career that places him alongside the ranks of U Roy in the upper echelon of toasters.
