Individuellos has it's moments, the opening Menschen 1/Individuellos/Menschen 2 and closing Das Yvönnchen. The silly stuff like Dampfriemen is fun too. As a complete listening experience though it's a total mess, and points towards Dinger's mix of Neu! 4 or the drastic record-saving tactics of Neu! 2. Like those the repetition of tracks, backwards instrumentals and aimless jams are all sonically interesting, but a grind to sit through. The biggest offender is Lieber Honig 1981. Which comes after 12 minutes of Menschen 1/Individuellos/Menschen 2 and is an instrumental reprise. It honestly feels like the song is never going to end, diminishing the one really rocking song on the album.

I sequence the album like this and it's a little more bearable:
      Side 1: Menschen 1 / Individuellos / Menschen 2 / Sentimental / Tintarella Di..
      Side 2: Dampfriemen / Flashback / Lieber Honig 1981 / Das Yvönnchen.

I always thought the unofficial end of the Krautrock era was around the time when Damo Suzuki left Can, around 1974-5, and albums released by them after that, as well as those by other bands that I considered my Krautrock faves demonstrated. But not La Dusseldorf. Their 1st 3 LPs released 1976-80 are weird as s**t. In a good way. And seem to embrace everything I like about Krautrock and more. This is their third LP, released in 1980. It's weird, Discogs doesn't even list the "style" of this release as Krautrock. It sure sounds like Krautrock to me! If you like their other 2 albums you'll like this one. Even though it was made in the wrong decade.
