Various – Red Hot + Blue

Bought this CD new back in the early 90's & wore it out. Great versions of Cole Porter songs you didn't think you knew by a bunch of hip artists that you do! One note on the description above: It states that there are 2 color merch sheets inside but unless there were 2 versions, it should be 1 sheet that's printed on 2 sides.

How are you going to make a Cole Porter tribute album without Anything Goes? What a rip off!

Fabulous sound quality. Bass to die for. Many of the tunes are fabulous as well!

2nd Hand copy just arrived, the low weight vinyl after wet clean sounds incredible. Warm detailed and rich.

I would like to hear from anybody who owns this album about whether or not the Sonics are better than the standard version. Thank you

Had this imported from Europe because I’m not sure there were any copies in the USA. Doesn’t sound bad, then again I’m not usually the greatest judge of fidelity unless it’s something very noticeable. Love the red and blue records. I found the presentation a little lacking. No promo stickers. Side B is breathtaking.

Ok, definitely a basic digital to vinyl job. Pressing is quite noisy between tracks. Mastering is average at best; definitely suffers from a lack of solid bottom-end. Like other reviewers, mine is also warped.

I'm not sure whether it's because the vinyls are not 180g, but for my copy, both vinyls are warped. Thankfully, I'm still able to play them. Still, it's a bit of a shock, having paid so much and waited so long, to receive warped records. In addition, my copy does not include any codes.
Pressing wise, the sound is ok. Bass is a little lacking, but nothing major, at least, not for me.
