Arctic Monkeys – Tranquility Base Hotel + Casino

Gotta say I'm impressed... This is such a great pressing and master, spacious and wonderfully balanced.

As an album I know it's kinda marmite and lots of people didn't get on with it, but as with all my favourite albums, once it "clicked" after maybe the fifth or sixth listen, I really got it.

It's never sounded as good as on this nice record.

Brilliant record from Alex and the boys, it sounds fantastic on my sliver vinyl copy - no surface noise at all. A lovely package.

Sound (of both sides) is excellent to my ears! Played on a Sony WM-24 paired with Marshall’s Major IV. Gold would’ve been THE color for this one though.

I actually love this album. Not my favorite from them but the vibes are executed perfectly.

Wow! Really impressed with the sound quality. It’s open, wide and punchy!

Compression holds back some beautiful highs (esp in synth and strings) but I honestly don’t think it is possible to sound any better than this in a modern record (I am not an analog purist but modern music requires compression to compete).

Vocal is super warm and fills up my listening room. Drums doesn’t sound muffled and bass, while a bit bloated, still has good definition.

The record benefits from not being a loud rock album like AM’s previous records for which the clarity and depth isn’t muddy.

A new album and sound with a classic feel, genuinely one of my favorites from the band.

My copy sounds great. This album is amazing on vinyl. A must have and IMO, best Monkeys album period. All the folks liking AM over this are wild. The lyrics, musicianship and atmosphere this album creates is simply amazing. The Monkeys masterpiece if you ask me.

Agree with negative reviews here. Shit press. A few pops but side 2 edge warping and skipping is unacceptable. on this one.
