Notes
On 31 May 2017, it was announced that Gilmour's new live album and film, Live at Pompeii should hit select cinemas for one night only on 13 September 2017. The film documents the two shows Gilmour performed on 7 and 8 July 2016 at the Pompeii amphitheatre. Live at Pompeii was released on 29 September 2017 and peaked at #3 on the UK Album Chart.

Edited 8 days agoIncredible headphone album. The soaring electric and acoustic solos are “close your eyes and nod your head worthy.” The hardcover box is sturdy with antistatic inserts for the vinyl. The included 24 page booklet of pro shot photos captures various angles from the show to relive the experience visually. The musicianship is what you’d expect from Gilmour sans Waters. It is great to hear the crowd appreciation in a 2000 year old amphitheater, but I prefer the recently recently released 1971 Pink Floyd Live at Pompeii. The mixing and micing on the recording was great, though I agree with others that the percussion was at times muddled. -

Fantastic live-record: great tracklist and awesome musicianship. Comes in a really nice looking box and the vinyl is really well pressed. Very silent and really good sound-quality. -
This is an incredible album. I just had the fortune of seeing David Gilmour live in- person for the first time at Madison Square Garden on his “Luck and Strange Tour”. Naturally, when I saw a copy of this at a store for a great price days later, I had to get it! I sadly had to narrowly miss the “Rattle that Lock Tour”, but we have a superb recording of it with this set. Stellar setlist, immaculate performance, and a great sounding pressing. The packaging is very nice, not as hefty as the Pulse box but sturdier than the latest Delicate Sound of Thunder box. An easy recommendation -
