Cosmic Baby – Stellar Supreme

So I just made a little mini-EP for myself of all of the mixes of THE SPACE TRACK (my all time favorite trance record) off of Beatport and got these three available versions:

1. The Space Track (assuming this is the "original" version);
2. Ambient Version;
3. Vinyl version.

I checked my car stereo, though, because the first version had bass that was so muffled and low in the mix it sounded like there was something wrong with my car speakers. Thankfully, the vinyl version has the strong punchy bass you'd hope you'd expect from this track.

Can anyone confirm if this is in fact a layover from the original CD or poor encoding on someone's part? (These are WAV files by the way.)

In any case, this particular track is a work of genius and I must say the whole EP is excellent but it's really THE SPACE TRACK that does it for me (massive kudos to whomever was forward thinking enough to put it on that old Trance Europe Express compilation which was my introduction to it.) The super crisp digital synths and ultra clean, punchy kicks and bass definitely set it apart and were definitely forward thinking for a time when everyone was just eschewing modern tech in favor of retro analog synths. Someone really needs to repress this because these prices are just silly...

Stellar Supreme is a very big hit on here due to the middle part which sounds like an early Eurithmics sound to me....extemly brilliant this song composition. Thats why the record is called this name, because here is the message you have to get. Jens does a very good job in using the 303 und very sharp drum patters in Eurovodoo what is the next bomb on here, slightly running into deep early goa music.
But Sea of Tranqulity steps out of this and is my favorite track allthough Heavens Teras was the Club Hit.

It's partly mixed but still pretty much the whole track in length. Well worth buying in my opinion.

When will this masterpiece get a nice vinyl reissue? I used to play this album so much and the remix singles on my college radio show. At the time, nothing compared to how thoughtful he weaved in trance, techno and ambient in this sound. Personally I think it still sounds amazing but I am so connected to it - need this on vinyl,

I love this album !! It's exactly how I like it ... Oldschool trance waves with acid lines. Heaven's Tears for me the highlight of the album. Excellent trance waves and beautiful melody. A must-have this album if you like the better years of Trance music.
