Coconut Records

Coconut Records is a German record label formed in 1981 by producers Tony Hendrik and Karin Hartmann. Acts that have been signed to Coconut have included Andreas Martin, Wolfgang Petry, À La Carte, Bad Boys Blue, Haddaway, Chyp-Notic, Soultans.

The previous owners Hendrik/Hartmann sold Coconut Records in January 2007 to Coconut Music Ltd. & Co. KG, which is backed by a group of investors. Karin Hartmann today is still part of the management team, while Tony Hendrik has left the company in 2003 already. In March 2024, BMG Rights Management took over the label's catalogue.
