I don't know about Vinilissimo since I haven't buy any of their releases but I can tell SBXIII that he's wrong. The problem is not if the reissue have been authorized by the artist. Most artists have little to no power about that and most of the time copyright owners are different depending of the country. The problem is : is it done the right way (ie sourced from the original master and not from a CD or worse from a vinyl). And the answer is you won't know because some copyright owners don't give a shit about quality. Plain recordings are well known to do lousy reissues, artists and buyers are not happy about it but they can't do shit since they bought the rights legally. It's bad for the artists, bad for the customers and bad for the labels who take the time to do things right and not just buy the rights… Because of that I try to avoid reissues or check thoroughly on the net the quality of the label if I can't. forums.stevehoffman.tv is a good place to start.

The Madcap Laughs is a very nice clean vinyl repressing on vinilissimo. These are not bootleg at all and are manufactured under license form EMI: Manufactured and marketed by Distrolux, SL under license from EMI Music Spain, SA. Very true reproduction of the original and I am more than happy with this essential reissue.

I know for a fact that this label's reissue of Outrageous by Kim Fowley is unauthorized (e-mail him and ask for yourself). Therefore, I think this might be a bootleg label.
