Jackets are very nice. The sound is excellent. Cannot compare them to Disc Union series bc recording engineer (RVG) is different than on these releases which are Warner/Atlantic releases (different recording engineer at the time of recording, different studio), whereas Disc Union are UA/EMI/Liberty/Blue Note. I have the full collection of both Disc Union and all of the above dics and can tell you that they both sound fantastic. Pickup Paul Desmond & the Tony Fruscella disc (separate discs), if you like those, buy more.

Could anyone tell me how these records sounds? Is it in the same league as the DiskUnion Blue Note Series (Japan)? And do they have thick jackets and labels like the originals?
