Profile:	Music Library service. Atmosphere initially released LPs in the period circa 1981 to circa 1989. Since then all Atmosphere releases have been on CD (and as s in recent years). The bulk of the releases are the "ATMOS" discs. There are also "Atmosphere Archive", "ATV" and "Kitsch" releases. The ATV albums were re-branded as "As Heard On TV" in 2014. The website linked below for unippm now lists these as separate labels: As Heard On TV, Atmosphere, Atmosphere Archive, Atmosphere Kitsch. Label Code: LC 8510 / LC 08510

AUGUST 2017: I have dated a number of releases on this label as the release dates can now be found on the website. However, the release dates given by the label for releases up to and including those in 1999 are suspicious. One Anthony Phillips release ATMOS-CD44 is dated January 10 1992 - see https://www.universalproductionmusic.com/en-gb/discover/albums/39/Travelogues-4-Drama . However, in the booklet for Anthony Phillips And Joji Hirota - Missing Links Volume 3: Time And Tide it states "...Atmosphere library CD, 'Travelogues and Drama' (C.D. 44) which was recorded in the Summer of 1992 and released the following Spring."
The label website should be viewed with caution.
