Masta Ace

Masta Ace (real name Duval Clear, born December 4, 1966) is a Brooklyn-based hip-hop MC known for his storytelling, longevity, and influence in the genre. He first gained recognition in 1988 as part of Masta Ace Incorporated. These albums blended East Coast lyricism with West Coast-influenced production, showcasing his versatility. After a brief hiatus, he returned in 2001 with Disposable Arts, a critically acclaimed concept album. He followed up with A Long Hot Summer (2004), both released under his own label, M3 Macmil Music.
Ace is also a member of Action (2). His influence spans generations, having inspired numerous artists with his intricate rhymes and conceptual storytelling.
He has been married to singer and radio host Leschea since 2001, and they have one daughter together.
