Franz Beckerlee

Danish rock guitarist, jazz saxophonist, primarily known as the lead guitarist of Gasolin', b. 1942.
Started playing saxophone aged 12 and by the mid 60's he was member of the avantgarde jazz group Kim Larsen caused Gasolin' to disband in the late 70's after reaching a status as the most popular danish rockband of the century.
Post Gasolin' Beckerlee has been in Christianshavns Bluesband ing Lone Kellermann, [Wild Honey (3)] as well as recording solo and writing.
