Fourteen Octaves

Short lived experimental Israeli band (active 1974-75) which combined progressive rock, jazz, and fusion. The band's name was derived from the fact that the piano covers seven octaves of notes and there were two pianists in the group. קצת אחרת (Ktzat Acheret a/k/a Nonames), another progressive rock band. In 2008 Kenner and Rechter did a t concert in which their performed some of the Fourteen Octaves material. It was the first time the two had played together in over 30 years.
