Best known for composing "At the Sign of the Swingin' Cymbal", Alan 'Fluff' Freeman's signature tune. He also charted as a songwriter in 1967 with "The Same Mistakes" by Ken Dodd (co-written by Ken Dodd & Norman Newell); the song hit #54 in the U.K. His name is often misspelled "Brian Faye".
