I have a promo copy of the LP from 1985 (it says "Loaned for Promotion Only" and "Not for Sale" on the back of the sleeve). I don't see any releases that mention it or have a picture of the sleeve with that information on, so should a new release be added?

The movie is amazing, and also extremely iconic. The soundtrack too is great, definitely a no skip album. Any 80s music/movie fan will love the movie and its soundtrack.

This is an Iconic movie from the 80's, but the Soundtrack is ANYTHING but. It's almost like John Hughes didn't realize that he had to pay for good tunes. Love the movie, outside of the Simple Minds song the rest is pedestrian.

The first song (Simple Minds - Don't You (Forget About Me)) is about the only song I can listen to on this album. I'm just keeping this record because it's such an iconic movie and song and I got it for $2 in an antique shop, perfect condition.
