Notes

Fully laminated gatefold sleeve.

Sometimes known as the ghost text version, the inside gatefold has blue text track listing. Underneath the blue text a different track order can be seen:
A1 Still Raining Still Dreaming
A2 House Burning Down
A3 All Along The Watchtower
A4 Voodoo Chile (Slight Return)
B1 Rainy Day, Dream Away
B2 1983 (A Merman, I Should Turn To Be)
B3 Moon, Turn The Tides ... Gently Gently Away
C1 And The Gods Made Love
C2 Electric Ladyland
C3 Crosstown Traffic
C4 Voodoo Chile
D1 Little Miss Strange
D2 Long Hot Summer Night
D3 Come On
D4 Gipsy Eyes
D5 Burning Of The Midnight Lamp

The rejected tracklist can be heard on The Jimi Hendrix Experience - Electric Ladyland Part 2.

This ghost text version is part of 'day of release' copies, along with the white type regular first version.
There is also a version that has the Track logo and the credits in white instead of blue, this one: The Jimi Hendrix Experience - Electric Ladyland.

Side A is backed with side D, side B is backed with side C.
The polylined inner sleeves have the British patent no. 800513 & 973939 --- Made in England 098 & 108.

Gatefold opens to view inner spread (glued to outer cover's inside tabs as separate element). Gloss laminate may expose matt areas on all four edges because of laminate shrinkage. (Effectively, the sleeve is a flattened 2-piece cardboard tube.)

Hendrix portrait on the right-hand side (back cover behind it).
Large sepia images of Redding & Mitchell on the left (front cover behind it), with blue tracks/credits text below. Track Record logo center, Ernest J. Day print data to the left. Erratic use of upper & lower-case in titles.

A2 appears as "Electric Ladyland" on cover, but as "Have You Ever Been (To Electric Ladyland)" on label.
A3 appears as "Crosstown Traffic" on cover, but as "Cross Town Traffic" on label.
B5 appears as "Burning Of The Midnight Lamp" on cover, but as "The Burning Of The Midnight Lamp" on label.
C2 appears as "1983 (A Merman I Should Turn To Be)" on cover, but as "1983 ... (A Merman I Should Turn To Be)" on label.
C3 appears as "Moon, Turn The Tides ... Gently Gently Away" on cover, but as "Moon, Turn The Tides ... Gently, Gently Away" on label.
D1 appears as "Still Raining Still Dreaming" on cover, but as "Still Raining, Still Dreaming" on label.

℗ 1968

With seeing how pissed these absolutely ridiculously stupid albums made Jimi, I can’t even imagine his reaction to this being released as a cover
